About Dr Gaza Aboki

 

Dr Gaza Aboki attended Boston University (Boston), and Curry College (Boston) and obtained his undergraduate degrees in Biological sciences and Psychology (out of interest!) in 2003. While pursuing a Masters degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, he was introduced to Podiatry by a college professor.

Good Foot Podiatry Gaza AbokiDr Gaza obtained his Medical Degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio in 2008. He proceeded to complete a two-year surgical residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Howard University Hospital in 2010. In his final year he served as the Chief Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Resident. His residency training involved providing instructions to students, with emphasis on reconstructive surgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, trauma, sports medicine, wound care, and infectious disease and limb salvage.

Upon completion of residency training, Gaza proceeded to complete a fellowship in Diabetic foot/Wound management and Limb Salvage at the Central Kentucky Diabetes Management Cumberland Foot and Ankle Centre.

Gaza has been in Australia since 2012 first practicing in the private sector for a large practice for almost five years, while there, he was a Senior Podiatrist and Head of Clinical Development. During this time he also participated in the Regional Aboriginal Outreach FIFO (Fly-in fly-out) Program twice a month to perform podiatry services.
